The ‘Young Book Lover’ Competition Dedicated to Sharaf Rashidov’s Works Was Held in Jizzakh

On January 30, 2025, the Scientific and Educational House-Museum of Sharaf Rashidov, in collaboration with Secondary School No. 10 of Jizzakh city and the Specialized School of Sharaf Rashidov District, hosted the “Young Book Lover” competition. As part of the project “The Book is the Foundation that Builds the Nation’s Culture” students wrote essays about the works of Sharaf Rashidov, followed by an awards ceremony for the winners of the competition.

The event was opened by Anvar Isakov, Director of the Sharaf Rashidov  Science and Educational Memorial House-Museum.

After that, the winners of the “Young Book Lover” competition from Secondary School No. 10 were awarded for their best essays dedicated to the works of Sharaf Rashidov:
1st place – Valiyeva Visola, an 8th-grade student
2nd place – Oblokulova Malika, a 9th-grade student
3rd place – Inomjonova Yokutoy, a 9th-grade student.

The winners from the Specialized School for their best essays on Sharaf Rashidov’s works were also awarded:
1st place – Asqarova Madina, an 11th-grade student
2nd place – Ibodullaeva Mavluda, a 10th-grade student
3rd place – Oltinbekova Bahora, a 10th-grade student

At the end of the event, the winners were recognized by the competition organizers and presented with commemorative gifts. The teachers of the schools were awarded letters of appreciation and books by Sharaf Rashidov.

A total of 130 participants attended the event.
